Nestled on a green hillside overlooking the blue Caribbean Sea, Chenay Bay Beach Resort is your Caribbean paradise destination. St. Croix, the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is 28 miles long and seven miles wide. Its vegetation ranges from rain forest on the west end to desert in the east. On the North shore of St. Croix, Chenay Bay is protected by Green Cay National Wildlife Preserve, a small island a mile off shore. The serene natural environment, coupled with the lush tropical landscape, create an idyllic setting for an incredible vacation experience.

The 30-acre resort, only three miles from historic Christiansted, is close enough to go to town anytime, but far enough away for peace and quiet. On the property, significant historic ruins including a windmill, well, horse trough and the wall of a lime kiln, stand as reminders to the island’s past. The resort sits on Estate Green Cay, the grounds of the former Hellin sugar plantation dating to 1811. The family-oriented resort offers an array of on-site action. The fun-filled children’s program offers snorkeling, kayaking, shelling, hiking, learning about the rich history of St. Croix and the chance to make new friends. On-site also is a casual beachfront bar and grill, offering fresh fish and Caribbean lobsters alongside traditional fare including burgers, hot dogs and fries. A full bar complements this amenity. The resort’s 50 West Indian style cottages each have their own front porch, and are within a minute’s walk to the Caribbean. For your visual enjoyment, you can choose from oceanfront, ocean view or garden view locations. Each air-conditioned cottage features a full kitchen and is decorated with local artwork. Connecting cottages are available for families or groups traveling together.
