Occidental Grand Cozumel is a resort designed especially with divers and aquatic sports enthusiasts in mind. On the southwest part of Cozumel Island, it faces the mainland Playa del Carmen, on the beautiful beach of San Francisco. Guests are only a five minute boat ride from the famous Palancar Reef. The underwater wildlife is absolutely amazing here, and due to the clarity of the water (100-200 feet of visibility, depending on the season), you don’t have to be a diver to enjoy it. Just go snorkeling!
